Heimia salicifolia & H. myrtifolia

Have had success propagating H. salicifolia and H. myrtifolia by cuttings.
Striked in either water or soil after a few days in a humidity tub heated to about 25c
Harden off from humidity to outdoor conditions rather quickly, whole process from cutting to outdoor plant is about 2 weeks.
I'm sure these would strike in a glass of water in a warm window sill.

Brugmansia sanguinea

Brugmansia sanguinea is quite common in my area, growing in all sorts of microclimates.
Surprising as it is supposed to be quite intolerant of frost.

I have read this one is near impossible to strike from cuttings but I am yet to see seed pods and want to propagate it, maybe I should cross it with one of the other sanguineas in the area.

TBM Graft

I sacrificed a Trichocereus bridgesii monstrose (penis plant) for the sake of grafting and had good results.
I took a small pup and cut it in half, leaving areoles to pup from on both sections, I then grafted both to pachanoi stocks.

Both were successful, the bottom of the TBM has pupped already. The tip of TBM was grafted to an unrooted tip of pachanoi that has since rooted and the scion is now showing some growth.

TBM grows fast enough on it's own so this is probably unnecessary but maybe this will produce bigger penises :)

Salvia divinorum flowering

Well, some of my Salvia plants are flowering! I believe this is related to day light hours as other people in the Southern Hemisphere I have been in contact with have plants flowering now too. Also, flowers only developed on plants over 2ft that hadn't been tipped in months.

These are plants growing in the ground in a cheap plastic greenhouse. I leave a bucket of water in there to keep it humid but it's really unnecessary.

Variegated Kawakawa

Found some local variegated Macropiper excelsum.
I am trying to strike cuttings at the moment but previous attempts at striking regular M. excelsum failed.
Maybe air layering is an option, I will check for suckers next time also.
